Our friendly and informal meetings take place every Tuesday at 8pm, providing an introduction to Buddhist meditation, teachings and practice. The sessions are led by experienced Buddhist practitioners who are students of Lama Jampa Thaye. An introduction to the method of calm
-abiding meditation is fully explained and practised. The evenings also include a short talk on a topic about basic Buddhist teachings (see list above), and end with a short contemplation, then there is time for questions, discussion and refreshments.
The sessions are held for all those who wish to find out more about Buddhism and to practise meditation. In order to get a fuller understanding of these profound Buddhist teachings, you are recommended to attend at least a few sessions with us. Everyone is welcome whether or not you have any previous experience. There is no need to book.
