Description

As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, Sakya Buddhist Centre Bristol is taking part in the Architecture Centre Bristol’s biggest Doors Open Day.  Our events programme is below:

Morning

  • 8.00am – 8.45am – Early morning meditation (with instructions)
  • 10.30am – 11.30am – Discover Buddhism session (meditation and a talk – again with instructions for meditation)

Afternoon

  • 2.00pm – 2.30pm – Mini meditation and the story of the life of the Buddha (for accompanied children ages 5 – 12)
  • 3.00pm – 3.30pm – Mini meditation and the story of the life of the Buddha (for accompanied children ages 5 – 12)

If you can’t make it to these events, the Centre will be open during the rest of the day (10.30-4.30) for you to come in, look around, have tea or just spend some quiet time in the shrine room.
