The Shower of Blessings by Mipham Rinpoche

This practice known as ‘the Guru Yoga combined with the Seven Line Prayer of Guru Rinpoche’,  was composed by Mipham Rinpoche, one of the greatest 19th century Tibetan lamas of the Nyingma tradition.  He gave it the name ‘Shower of Blessings’, as through its practice one receives the blessings of the guru. To do this practice one must have received the full initiation and lung (reading transmission). The practice also includes a Tsok Feast, and is performed at the Sakya Centre and other Dechen centres on the 10th day of every lunar month.

Participation is restricted to those who have received the required teachings (refuge, initiation, reading transmission and instructions) from a qualified lama. Please talk to one of the Centre co-ordinators or a member of the team for further information.
