Regrettably due to the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19) we have decided that it is necessary to cancel this event. We hope to reschedule these teachings later in the year but are currently unable to give a date.

This teaching by Jampa Thaye was to have been hosted by our sister centre, Dechen London Sakya Buddhist Centre, Saturday 21st March 2020.

10:30 am The Mind Training Levelling All Conceptions (Geshe Serlingpa)

The system of meditation practice known as mind training (LOBJONG in Tibetan) is one of the most popular and widely-practised in Buddhism. It offers us a method of transforming adverse circumstances into positive aspects of the path of awakening compassion. This text is from the collection of mind training teachings known as The One Hundred Mind Trainings.

2:30 -4.30pm Vajrayana Initiation* – The Initiation of Parnashabri*

The goddess Parnashabari bestows protection from various obstacles such as epidemics and contagious diseases. This particular initiation is drawn from the collection known as The One Hundred Initiations of Bari Lotsawa.

*Please note that in order to attend the afternoon teaching you must have made formal commitment to the Buddhist path through the act of taking refuge. If you would like to request refuge from Lama Jampa prior to the initiation please contact london@dechen.org.
