Lama Jampa Thaye will be teaching in Bristol at Future Inn on Saturday 10th October 2026 and all are welcome to attend (booking will open later this summer). 10.30am – 1.00pm The Excellent Vase of Nectar: a commentary on the Three Heaps Sutra (35 Buddhas Prayer) by Karma Thinley Rinpoche
The Excellent Vase of Nectar is a commentary upon The Sutra of the Three Heaps, first taught by Buddha Shakyamuni as a supreme method to purify negative actions, which would otherwise become a serious obstacle on the path to enlightenment. Also known as the Confession Prayer Before the Thirty-Five Buddhas, or the Bodhisattva’s Confession of Downfalls, its practice is widespread throughout the Mahayana Buddhist world. 2.30 – 4.30pm: Initiation of Vasudhara from the lineage of Bari Lotsava
Lama Jampa will give the initiation of the wealth bestowing goddess Vasudhara from the One Hundred Sadhanas of Bari Lotsava. Practice of her sadhana creates the beneficial conditions necessary for cultivating the spiritual path. Refuge and the bodhisattva vow will be given at the beginning of the initiation’ It is possible to attend the just the morning or afternoon session. [Please note that as many people from the Bristol Centre will be going to this teaching, there will be no Saturday morning meditation classes on these dates].
