H.H. Ratna Vajra Rinpoche the 42nd Sakya Trizin – Major Initiation of Sangye Menla (Medicine Buddha)

H.H. Ratna Vajra Rinpoche will bestow the extremely rare two day major Initiation of Sangye Menla (Medicine Buddha) one of the chief deities of Vajrayana Buddhism. This Initiation, drawn from The Collection of Tantras, conveys the blessing of all the deities of the mandala, thus purifying outer and inner imbalances and empowering practitioners to achieve realisation of the state of Sangye Menla himself.

Receiving this initiation entails the subsequent maintenance of the Individual Liberation and Bodhisattva vows. As such the initiation is open only to those who have taken refuge.

Facility fee £85 for both days (Concession: £68 please email bristol@dechen.org to apply for this.   Children under 18 – free) Note: One must have come to the preliminary part in order to attend the main part.

Saturday 27th May 2pm – Preliminary Part of the Initiation
Sunday 28th May 2pm – Main Part of the Initiation

Doors Open from 1pm on both days.  We are unable to specify the finishing times on both days.  Day 1 is likely to be shorter than Day 2 – as a guide we suggest 5pm on Day 1 and 6.30pm pm on Day 2, but this is merely an estimate.
